Merseyside architectural and construction related businesses gathered in May to vote live and then celebrate at the Merseyside Project of the Year Awards in Liverpool. Eight projects were shortlisted and Brock Carmichael’s Ruthin School Dining Hall project was one of two Highly Commended. Head of Marketing, Jane Harrad-Roberts was on hand to accept the award (below) on behalf of the core project team at Brock Carmichael for Ruthin School (above) LtoR: Chris Bolland, Ian Jones and Tom Glover.
The event also showcased the work of John Moore University Year 6 Architectural Students and shared keynote speaker and Digital Evangelist, Paul Wilkinson’s vision of the industry in 2029.
Unlike many other awards, projects were voted for by peers LIVE on the evening. Every one of the 240 votes on the evening planted a tree for Tree Aid, courtesy of event organisers Specifi.
