A new build high bay warehouse with two-storey office building attached to accommodate 60 staff, including car parking and service yard. The project was successfully completed within 12 months and the construction cost was £2.35M.


Killer Ink is an established specialist wholesaler to the tattoo industry. In 2018 the company required the expansion to their existing 20,000 sq ft warehouse facility based on Venture Point Business Park, Speke. The business is based around sales made on the company website and the existing facility accommodated a call centre, bulk delivery storage, picking lines and outward customer delivery via courier services to the UK and Europe.

Fortunately an adjacent development site became available and the brief was to deliver a new build 20,000sqft/ 1850sqm, high bay, 12m high bulk goods delivery warehouse together with an attached two storey office building for sales, marketing and administration, accommodating 60 staff, plus car parking and service yard.
At the Client’s request the contract was delivered on a traditional contract basis with full architectural design service other than that for the specialist high bay automated stacker installation.
