 Favourite building in the world:

Villa Savoye, Poissy, France, LeCorbusier. Selected for its simplicity and modernist design. The use of “five points” to design Villa Savoye to create open plan living spaces and the use of the golden section to divide each space makes it truly special.

 Favourite Building in Liverpool:

Oriel Chambers, Water Street, Peter Ellis (1864), because of its ingenuity.  To design a modernist building for the time it was constructed is an achievement, being one of the first  buildings in the world to use steelwork and glass curtain walling that influenced the buildings we see today.

Project Experience:

  • Primrose Road House Extension
  • Wavertree development
  • Edge Hill Library
