Favourite Building in the World

University of London Senate House, Charles Holden.  It is the only building that has made me nearly fall over when I first saw it.  I chose Charles Holden as the subject for my 30,000 word thesis as a result.  Dave King gave me a first.

Favourite Building in Liverpool

Mersey Tunnel Ventilation Building at the Pier Head because it is so sculpturally interesting and did not have to be for such a functional, utilitarian building.
